After grabbing a quick snack at a local shop, travellers arriving at the High Court metro rail station in a few of years will be able to effortlessly change to an MTC bus or outstation service.
The Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC)-initiated project will be built at Broadway bus stop by Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL), which has published a tender to hire a detailed design consultant and create a full project report.
According to CMRL authorities, the facility would contain bays, retail areas, parking facilities for public and private buses, as well as commuter automobiles.
According to earlier reports, a skyscraper with 21 stories and 80 bus bays in the first phase and 44 more in the second phase was proposed.
