Bounce Infinity, an electric mobility company, said that it has collaborated with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) to put up battery swapping infrastructure at BPCL’s gasoline stations.
Bounce stated in a statement that the battery swapping service, which will begin in Bengaluru, would be scaled out to key metro areas, with the business aiming to put up 3,000 stations across the top ten cities.
The smart framework will support not only the company’s retail business, but also interoperable partners for two- and three-wheelers, according to the company. The battery swapping as a solution will also support two- and three-wheelers that have been converted to electric vehicles from conventional engines, according to the company.
