A new Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF) line will be established in Hyderabad as a result of an arrangement Boeing has made with GMR Aero Technik.
The first Boeing supplier in India with the capacity to service upcoming domestic and international aircraft conversions is GMR Aero Technik.
The partnership strengthens Boeing’s ongoing efforts to enhance India’s capacity for sophisticated aircraft modifications and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), supporting India’s ambition to become a regional aviation and aerospace powerhouse.
“Our cooperation with GMR Aero Technic not only a testimony of the maturation of Indian MROs in the country to support the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat, but also supports the anticipated growth of the cargo sector in the region,” said Salil Gupte, president, Boeing India.
