Board of Indian Oil agrees to invest Rs 7,282 crore for CDG projects

The Board of Indian Oil Corporation approved an investment of Rs. 7282 crore for the construction of the City Gas Distribution (CGD) network in nine Geographical Areas (GAs) granted to the Company by PNGRB in the 11th Round of CGD bidding.

With the addition of these 9 Geographical Areas, Indian Oil will now have a presence in 26 Geographical Areas on its own and 23 Geographical Areas through its Joint Venture firms.

Following the 11th Round of CGD Bidding, Indian Oil and its two joint venture businesses currently operate in 49 GAs and 105 Districts throughout 21 States and UTs, making them one of the country’s leading CGD participants.
