MP Birla Group company Birla Corporation intends to grow its cement manufacturing capacity by 50% to 30 million tonnes annually by 2030.
The company, which invested Rs 2,744 crore to commission a greenfield operation in Mukutban, Maharashtra, wants to build additional facilities and increase the output of already-existing ones.
“Birla Corporation Ltd is committed to increasing its annual cement production capacity to approximately 30 million tonnes (MT) by 2030. Our current production capacity stands at 20 million tonnes,” it said.
