The Indian Army and Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) have inked a deal worth Rs 3,131.82 crore for the manufacturing and supply of Konkurs – M AntiTank Guided Missiles. The pact, which was inked today in New Delhi, will last three years.
BDL’s order book, including the Konkurs-M contract signed today, stands at Rs 11,400 Cr (net).
Commodore Siddharth Mishra (Retd), CMD, BDL, revealed that BDL manufactures the Konkurs – M under a licence deal with a Russian OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer). The missile has been indigenized to the fullest extent possible. BDL is also selling the Konkurs-M missile to friendly foreign nations.
