Defence Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoA) to establish a joint venture with the goal of creating a single point of contact for providing long-term product support services to India’s armed forces. According to a BEL statement, the announcement was made by Union Minister of State for Defense Ajay Bhat at the ongoing biannual air show and aviation exhibition known as Aero India 2023 at Yelahanka Air Force Station in this city. According to the statement, the alliance is yet another important step in securing the long-standing association between the two businesses. BEL, a ‘Navratna’ company which is a leading manufacturer of defence electronic products and systems, and IAI, a top aerospace and defence company in Israel, are engaged in several joint programmes for the Indian armed forces.
