Now, a nine-km long rural link road connects the airport, which is situated in the village of Virk Kalan, some 30 kilometres from the district seat.
According to PWD executive engineer (rural) Ayush Goyal, the department presented a plan for a 5.7-km long brand-new road to the airport after receiving instructions from the district administration.
