In a bid to meet the increasing demand for non-woven fabrics, Avgol India Pvt Ltd, a prominent player in the textile industry, has embarked on an ambitious expansion project in Mandideep Industrial Area, Satlapur, Goharganj, Raisen, Madhya Pradesh. With a total investment of Rs. 1690 million, the project aims to significantly enhance the production capacities of various types of non-woven fabric.
The expansion plan entails increasing the manufacturing capabilities of different fabric grades. This includes 10 GSM fabric by 2500 MT, 11 GSM fabric by 2000 MT, 12-15 GSM fabric by 3500 MT, and 35-45 GSM fabric by 300 MT. By expanding their production capacities across these grades, Avgol India seeks to cater to the diverse needs of industries such as hygiene, medical, and industrial sectors.
As of June 2023, Avgol India has obtained crucial consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project. This approval underscores the company’s commitment to adhering to environmental regulations and implementing sustainable manufacturing practices.
The project location in Madhya Pradesh’s central region holds strategic significance, offering favorable infrastructure and logistical advantages. The expansion initiative is expected to create employment opportunities and contribute to the economic growth of the region.
