Atul Limited, one of the world’s major sulphur black manufacturers, has completed the expansion of its sulphur black manufacturing facilities from 9,800 to 26,000 tonnes per year.
The cutting-edge integrated facility will be capable of producing both liquid and powder formulations. The zero-manual-intervention automated packaging and stacking method will boost manufacturing efficiency even more. In keeping with the Company’s commitment to sustainability, the factory will be outfitted with a zero liquid discharge facility. The items are GOTS-certified and meet Oeko-Tex Standard 100 requirements.
The company’s first Sulphur Black facility was built in 1952 and had a manufacturing capacity of 2,500 tonnes per year.
