The Odisha government announced that ArcelorMittal and Nippon Steel, a company based in Japan, will establish a factory in the state to produce 30 MT of speciality metal. During a meeting with Nippon Steel President Eiji Hashimoto earlier in the day in Tokyo, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik made the announcement. “CM@Naveen_Odisha met Eiji Hashimoto, President of Nippon Steel during #OdishaInvestorsMeet in Tokyo and discussed about company’s plan to build one of the world’s largest steel plants in #Odisha along with @ArcelorMittal.
