The 1,224-kilometer Amritsar-Jamnagar greenfield corridor is currently under construction and is expected to be finished by September 2023, according to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.
In a series of tweets, the road transport and roads minister stated that the 277-kilometer segment between Bikaner and Jodhpur is expected to be finished and available to the public by the end of this year.
The main Amritsar – Bhatinda – Jamnagar corridor is being built at a cost of Rs 26,000 crore, according to Gadkari.
It will go across Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Gujarat, connecting the towns of Amritsar, Bhatinda, Sangaria, Bikaner, Sanchore, Samakhiyali, and Jamnagar.
