Two significant railway projects worth more than Rs 850 crore were officially launched in Faridabad by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, giving the rail industry in Haryana a significant boost.
Shah will inaugurate the 4.84 km long elevated track in Rohtak, Haryana, in addition to dedicating the Rs 535 crore train coach plant there to the general public. Through a video conferencing link, both programmes would be introduced from Faridabad.
Constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 315.46 crore, the elevated Rohtak-Gohana-Panipat section is expected to ease the traffic congestion in Rohtak to a great extent.
