Goyal Aluminiums Limited, a leading manufacturer of aluminium products in India, has announced its plans to invest INR 200 crores to set up an electric vehicle (EV) plant in Uttar Pradesh. The plant will manufacture EV components and batteries and is expected to have an annual production capacity of 10,000 electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers.
According to the company, the plant will be equipped with advanced manufacturing technology and will create employment opportunities for local residents. The plant is expected to generate approximately 1,000 direct and indirect jobs in the region.
Speaking about the investment, Rajeev Goyal, Managing Director of Goyal Aluminiums Limited, said, “We are excited to announce our plans to set up an EV plant in Uttar Pradesh. The plant will help us contribute to the development of the EV ecosystem in the country and support the government’s vision of promoting clean energy and sustainable transportation.”
