The Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPMRCL) has chosen Alstom, a world leader in smart and sustainable transportation, to supply 156 Movia metro cars together with 15 years of thorough maintenance for the Bhopal and Indore metro projects.
The order, which has a value of €387 million (about INR 3200 crore), calls for the installation of the most recent Communications Based Train Control (CBTC) signalling, train control, and telecommunication systems, each with a seven-year warranty on complete maintenance.
