Alom Aluminium, a company that specializes in the production and supply of high-quality aluminium products, is planning to undertake a new project in Banganagar, PS Falta, 24 Parganas, West Bengal. The project will involve the installation of a Log Heating Furnace and a Billet Heating Furnace, both of which will be LPG-fired. The Log Heating Furnace will have a capacity of 0.80 MT, while the Billet Heating Furnace will have a capacity of 0.40 MT. The Log Heating Furnace will be used to heat logs of aluminium, which will then be processed further into various products. The Billet Heating Furnace, on the other hand, will be used to heat billets of aluminium, which will also be processed further into various products. The project is estimated to cost Rs. 570 million, and the company has already received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project as of March 2023. This means that the company has met all the necessary environmental and regulatory requirements to proceed with the project.
