Allied Digital Services Limited has been given a Letter of Intent (LoI) for the Solapur Smart City Project. The total contract value is around Rs. 49 billion.
The project is anticipated to take 9 months to complete, and it will require 36 months for operations and maintenance.
The scope of work for Allied Digital includes installing a city communication network, a state-of-the-art command control centre, a city-wide surveillance system, intelligent traffic management systems, including an automatic number plate recognition system and a red-light violation detection system, an adaptive traffic management system, a public address system, emergency panic buttons, and a data centre.
