AkzoNobel has inaugurated a new industrial coatings plant at Hoskote Bengaluru. The facility will produ coil and specialty plastic coatings on an existing AkzoNobel site which already manufactures marine and protective coatings, automotive coatings and powder coatings. The new facility will be capable of manufacturing upto 18 million litres per year, with scope for further expansion. The increase in capacity will also boost the company’s ability to meet the growing demand in India and neighbouring countries.
