Airtel’s Nxtra launches 38 MW Hyperscale data center in Chennai

Nxtra by Airtel, Bharti Airtel’s data centre business, has opened a new hyperscale data centre park in Chennai. The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M.K. Stalin, digitally unveiled the cutting-edge facility.

This is the third major data centre in Chennai for Nxtra by Airtel. The LEED-certified plant, which has a capacity of 38 megawatts, spans 270,000 square feet.

The fact that Airtel’s new data centre is fully linked with the company’s global submarine cable network gives hyperscalers an end-to-end secure connection solution.
