AIMCO pesticides gets environmental clearance for expansion

The proposal by AIMCO Pesticides Limited to increase the production capacity of its technical grade pesticides and pesticide intermediates manufacturing plant in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, from 14,360 tonnes per year to 21,451 tonnes per year has received environmental clearance from the ministry of environment, forest, and climate change.

With an existing investment of 17.66 crore, the project’s anticipated cost is 24.66 crore.

The funding set aside for the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) is divided into two categories: capital ($2.88 crore) and operation and maintenance ($0.76 crore).
