The additives company SI Group has announced that it will expand its manufacturing capabilities and start producing the ethanox 4757 aminic antioxidant at its site in Rasal, India.
Lubricants, greases, industrial, automotive, and heat transfer fluids all use the principal antioxidant octylated-butylated diphenylamine, also known as Ethanox 4757. Commercial materials are predicted to become accessible by the end of 2022, increasing the amount of this important chemical that is readily available by several thousand tonnes.
The new product expands SI Group’s current line of lubricant antioxidants and will improve the company’s product selection for lubricant clients. The Ethanox 4757 aminic antioxidant, which is an essential component of additive packages, is made to increase the lifespan of lubricants.
