Adani Group company AdaniConneX plans to construct 1,000 megawatt data centres over the course of ten years, nearly doubling the current scale of the whole industry.
Sanjay Bhutani, Senior Vice President and Head of Data Center Business at AdaniConneX, announced that the company will build its first seven data centres in Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Pune.
“We are building 1,000 megawatt data centres. Today, the industry stands at 550 MW. Building 1,000 megawatt data centre in the next one decade is something which is our business plan,” Bhutani said while speaking at 9.9 Group’s CIO and Leader Conference.
