The Letter of Award for the construction of a deep-sea port at Tajpur was given to Adani Ports by the West Bengal government.
At an event held by the state government following Durga puja, it was accepted by Karan Adani,CEO of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ), in front of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
The West Bengal Industrial Building Corporation has awarded APSEZ a letter of award for the development of a deep-sea port at Tajpur, West Bengal, on a design-build–finance–operate– transfer basis, according to a stock exchange filing.
At the event attended by industrialists and CEOs, Banerjee pointed to the growth in agricultural output and said, “Similarly, we have to take care of industry and investment.”
