Adani Enterprises has obtained a letter of award from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to build a portion of National Highway 48 as part of the government’s Bharatmala Pariyojana. Adani Enterprises stated in a regulatory filing that its wholly-owned subsidiary Adani Road Transport Ltd (ARTL) recently took part in a tender organised by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
According to ARTL, the business has won a letter of award (LoA) for the six-laning of the Kagal-Satara portion of NH-48 in Maharashtra, which would be done on a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) Toll system under the Bharatmala Pariyojana.
The 67-kilometer project is expected to cost Rs 2,008.47 crore. According to AEL, the project will take 24 months to complete.
