At a cost of Rs 52,474 crore, the Gurugram-based ACME Green Hydrogen and Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. is constructing a green ammonia and green hydrogen facility in the port city of Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu.

Manoj Kumar Upadhya, the company’s creator, stated at the Tamil Nadu Investors’ First Port of Call-Investment Conclave on Monday that this will be one of the biggest such factories in the world.

The greatest investment disclosed during the occasion was this one.

The fertiliser business will receive chemicals from the green ammonia hydrogen, while the electricity and shipping industries will receive fuel. The State is fortunate to have all four of the factory’s primary requirements, he said: a sizable plot of land, proximity to the port, solar radiation, and a competent labour pool.
