ACME and IHI Corporation to explore business opportunities in green hydrogen

Together, the clean energy company ACME Group and the Japanese heavy industrial producer IHI Corporation are investigating the commercial potential of green hydrogen. According to a statement, the goal of this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is to jointly research and assess potential projects with regard to joint venture opportunities along the entire value chain of green hydrogen and ammonia, including production, handling, transportation, distribution, and power generation. According to the MoU, IHI is permitted to accept offtake (purchase output) or invest in one or more ACME projects in Oman, India, the US, or Egypt. The businesses will also look for ways to work together to provide customers with an all-inclusive integrated solution, including green ammonia supply, bunkering, and goods or solutions for diverse applications.
