The enlarged Digital Substation Products and Digital Systems plant in Vadodara, Gujarat, was inaugurated by ABB India.
This new plant, which is located within ABB India’s largest manufacturing complex, will service the rising demand for a wide variety of digital substation products and digital solutions in India and over 50 other countries.
Products such as relays are part of the manufacturing portfolio, and solutions cover everything from centralised protection and control systems to distribution automation, bus transfer systems, and arc protection for the electrical distribution network.
Through OEMs, these products are used in a variety of sectors, including cement, steel, oil, and gas, as well as utilities (power distribution firms) and renewable energy initiatives.
