Together with its joint venture partner Indospace, Sree Kailas Group, which has built industrial and logistics parks in South India, is creating a six lakh square foot storage and industrial space in Sunguvarchatram near Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu. According to a press release, the project will require an investment of 150 crore for 30 acres of industrial property.
Sunguvarchatram, near the Chennai-Bengaluru expressway, has grown to be the largest electronic cluster in the nation, according to the group’s chairman S Rajkumar.
Giants in the mobile phone and electronics industries including Samsung, Dell, Motorola, Foxconn, Flextronics, and Salcomp operate factories here.
