The design and construction of a water treatment facility have been put out to bid by the Surat Municipal Corporation.
The scope of work includes turning a 50 MLD existing WTP into a 160 MLD water treatment plant based on membrane filtration at Rander on a turnkey basis, along with operation and maintenance for three years, and designing, building, testing, and commissioning a 250 MLD capacity water treatment plant with zero liquid discharge at Variav.
The project is expected to cost Rs 208.76 crore.
