Haryana govt to invest Rs 4,800 crore to build infra for global city

Vikas Gupta, managing director of the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC), the Haryana government would put up for auction a 150-acre block of land in Gurgaon as part of its intention to invest 4,800 crore in building infrastructure for a global metropolis.

To assist construct the city of Gurgaon on the whole 1,003 acres of property it selected on the Dwarka Expressway, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar conducted a number of talks with developers from the NCR, Bangalore, and Mumbai.

“The CM is actively involved in the creation of the world class city and the first phase is expected to start in July. We will also start work on infrastructure, which will include road and metro connectivity and helipad among others,” Gupta said.
