NLC, a Navratna PSE under the Ministry of Coal, has appointed Engineers India Limited, a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, as Project Management Consultant (PMC) for its historic Lignite to Methanol project, the first of its type in India.
The 1200 TPD Lignite to Methanol plant in Neyveli would help the Hon’ble Prime Minister realise his vision of an Atma-Nirbhar Bharat and a self-sufficient India.
EIL’s extensive expertise in Mega Project Execution in the Energy Sector, along with NLCIL’s passion, will ensure that this historic project is effectively realised through rapid implementation. In 2027, this historic project is projected to be completed.
