Volvo Car India sets up solar power panels at Haryana

Volvo Car India said that solar panels had been installed in community and basic health centres in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

The panels have been installed in Jewar in the Gautam Buddh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh, Kheri Kalan in Faridabad, and Bhorikalan and Bhangrola in Haryana’s Gurugram districts.

This year, the firm wants to expand the project to other community health care centres, according to the corporation.

The four Health Centres now have a total of 50 KW of captive solar power, and after using it for their requirements, they may transmit excess electricity to the grid, not only contributing to sustainable energy but also lowering their separate energy costs, according to the firm.
