Rajasthan allots land to Adani to set up 1,000 MW solar power project

Many important decisions were made at the Rajasthan cabinet meeting, which was chaired by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot at his official residence, including the allotment of 2,397.54 hectares of government land in Bandha village, Jaisalmer district, to Adani Renewable Energy Holding Four Limited on cost for the construction of a 1,000 megawatt solar power project.

The Rajasthan Land Revenue (Allocation of Land for Setting Up of Power Plant based on Renewable Energy Sources) Rules-2007 shall govern this allotment.

With the installation of solar energy-based production units, the state’s power generation will grow.

Aside from that, there will be more prospects for local employment and money generation for the state.
