The Yamuna International Airport has teamed up with Tata Projects Ltd. to manage the development and building of a new airport in Noida.
At Noida International Airport, the contract involves the construction of a runway, terminals, roadways, utilities, airside infrastructure, and other auxiliary facilities.
Under the quality and cost-based selection criteria used for the selection process, the Tata group’s infrastructure and construction arm outperformed its competitors Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and Shapoorji Pallonji.
“We are proud to be entrusted the EPC works for the greenfield Noida International Airport at Jewar. Tata Projects will work closely with YIAPL to deliver India’s most advanced and environment friendly airport on time. We shall deploy the latest technologies in its construction, while meeting the standards of quality, safety, and sustainability,” Tata Projects CEO & MD-designate Vinayak Pai said.
