Surface Measurement Systems (SMS), located in the United Kingdom, will open a particle characterisation facility in Hyderabad.
The 7,000 square metre facility will be dedicated to characterising pharmaceutical powders. It will be a global and Indian pharmaceutical customer magnet, according to SMS, following a meeting between Industries and IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao, who is leading an official delegation to the United Kingdom, and senior management.
“Telangana’s progressive and investor-friendly policies facilitated an SME like us to establish a new state-of-the-art particle characterisation laboratory in Hyderabad,” managing director Daryl Williams. The Particle Characterisation Laboratory (Hyderabad) will be working with world’s leading pharmaceutical companies.
