Revised report for aqua line extension sent for Centre’s nod: Nand Gopal

Uttar Pradesh Industries Minister Nand Gopal Gupta said that the state government has forwarded the updated detailed project report (DPR) for the Aqua Line metro expansion to the Centre for clearance.

He added in a statement that the new metro line expansion will connect Noida and Greater Noida (West), popularly known as Noida Extension, and will cost Rs 2,682 crore.

The minister said he authorised the project’s updated DPR, and it has now been forwarded to the central government for approval.

“The extension corridor of the Aqua Line metro will connect Noida Sector 71 and Knowledge Park V in Greater Noida (West). The route is proposed to have nine stations over 14.95 km,” Gupta said.
