Maire Tecnimont bags 10-MW green hydrogen plant in India

The Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) has granted Tecnimont Private Limited (TCMPL), in conjunction with NextChem, an EPC contract to build a 4.3-ton/day green-hydrogen generation facility via a 10-megawatt PEM electrolysis unit in Vijaipur (Madhya Pradesh), in Central India.

The total contract value is kept private, as is customary for this sort of business. The project’s scope of work includes comprehensive engineering, procurement, and construction from the letter of acceptance through commissioning, plant start-up, and Performance Guarantee Test Run, with completion projected in 18 months.

GAIL is the world’s largest state-owned natural gas processing corporation, with operations across the entire value chain.
