- AGP Karaikal LNG is planning to take up new LNG import facility in Karaikal Port, Puducherry. The project involves development of LNG Import Facility built on a 12-hectare site within the Karaikal Port, which enjoys the only deep-water access on the East Coast of India south of Chennai, with all-weather capabilities and 24/7 operations. The capacity of the port 1 MTPA and can be increased to 6 mtpa in a phased manner. As of February 2020, Puducherry chief minister performed the ground-breaking ceremony for the project.
- Dhamra LNG Terminal subsidy of Adani group is planning to take up a new LNG terminal in Dosinga, Chandbali, Bhadrak, Odisha. The project involves establishment of LNG terminal consist of one new berth facility with 2 nos. of cryogenic nickel plated tanker each capacity 180000 meter cube. The project is estimated to cost Rs.52520 million. As of April 2020, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project
- Konkan LNG is planning to take up a new LNG terminal construction project in Anjanvel, Guhagar, Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. The project involves construction of breakwater work for LNG Terminal. The project is estimated to cost Rs.8470 million. In May 1993, the project was submitted for the first level of environmental clearance. As of June 2020, the project has been given final environmental clearance by ministry of Environment and forest.
- Government of Gujarat is planning to take up new LNG terminal development project in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The project involves development of LNG terminal for storage of Oil/Gas. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.54230.8 million. As of August 2020, the project is in under development stage.
- Essar Group is planning to take up new LNG terminal in Hazira, Surat, Gujarat. The project involves setting up LNG terminal. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.100000 million. As of October 2020, pre project activities are going on.
