Kolkata Water and Sanitation Authority invites bids for sewage treatment facility

The Kolkata Metropolitan Water and Sanitation Authority has issued a request for proposals for the development of a sewage treatment facility in Siliguri.

The scope of work includes the design, drawing, construction, and commissioning of a sewage treatment plant (STP-I) with a capacity of 48 mld, as well as an interception and diversion network for tapping existing drains that flow into the river Mahananda (from the western bank) for pollution abatement, as well as a three-month trial run and five-year operations and maintenance of all civil and electromechanical works on a turnkey basis in the SJDA area under A
