Sona Comstar has announced a partnership with C-Motive Technologies, a start-up located in the United States, to develop electrostatic drive motors for electric car applications.
The electrostatic drive motors are planned to enter serial manufacturing in 2026, according to the firm.
Sona Comstar will also participate in C-newest Motive’s fundraising round as part of the cooperation, according to the business.
According to Sona Comstar Group CTO Kiran M Deshmukh, C-Motive is a technological start-up that is employing electrostatic forces to develop a motor through a sequence of multiplicative improvements in mechanical, electrical, and electrochemical breakthroughs.
