According to the Dutch ambassador, Marten van den Berg, the Tamil Nadu government will shortly sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Dutch government, which would cover a wide variety of industries from agritech to water management and open the way for deeper collaboration on critical projects.
According to Berg, the Dutch government plans to establish a ‘centre of excellence’ in Tamil Nadu, as it does in other states such as Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, and Maharashtra, to further collaboration.
Previously, the governments worked together on a project-by-project basis. Both governments are now considering a more comprehensive MoU that will include a wide range of topics such as water, agriculture, mobility, and energy
