Radiant Appliances and Electronics has constructed a new LED TV manufacturing facility in this city, increasing its annual production capacity from 2.1 million to 4.5 million pieces.
The company has committed Rs 100 crore to boost its capacity after producing 5 million LED TV sets in two years despite supply chain problems caused by the epidemic.
The TV market in India has been rising rapidly, according to Raminder Singh Soin, Managing Director, Radiant Appliances and Electronics, notably during and after the epidemic.
The market has increased from roughly 1 million units per year 15-20 years ago to 12.5 million units per year.
