East Coast Railway has issued a request for proposals for the building of six tunnels as part of the Kottavalasa-Koraput Doubling Project.
The scope of work includes the construction of six tunnels, as well as the supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of E&M Works, such as anti-fire equipment, fire fighting main pump, fire hydrant system, gas extinguishing systems, and heat detection systems, between the Boddavara-Sivalingapuram Stations of the Kottavalasa-Koraput Doubling of the East Coast Railway’s Waltair Division.
The estimated value of the work is Rs 243.49 crore with completion period of 24 months.
