- Emirates Cements is planning to take up a new grey cement manufacturing project in Poolampara, Walayar, Palakkad, Kerala. The project involves manufacturing of grey cement with capacity 200 MT/Day. The project is estimated to cost Rs.18.6 million. As of February 2021, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
- Sagar Cements is planning to take up new cement manufacturing plant in Satguru Cements, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The project involves setting up a greenfield cement manufacturing plant of one million tonne capacity along with a waste heat recovery power plant. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.4260 million. As of February 2021, Sagar Cements is investing Rs 1500 Million.
- Shree Cement is planning to take up cement manufacturing project in Unit – Kolkata Cement Plant, Madhabpur Uluberia, Howrah, West Bengal. The project involves manufacturing of cement with capacity of 3.5 Million Tons. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on November 2020. As of April 2021, the project is in planning stage.
- Ultratech Cement is planning to take up cement plant expansion project in Rampur, Sidhi, Madhya Pradesh. The project involves expansion of cement plant capacity from 3.5 MTPA to 8 MTPA and clinker capacity from 3 MTPA to 7 MTPA along with installation of WHRS (32 MW) at Sidhi Cement Works Unit. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.7500 million. As of March 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Sagar Cements is planning to take up new greenfield grinding unit in Jajpur Cements Plant, Jajpur, Odisha. The project involves setting up greenfield grinding unit with capacity 1.5 Million Tonne. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.3080 million. As of February 2021, Sagar Cements announced the acquisition of JCPL. The plant commissioned in Q2/FY22
- Jaykaycem is planning to take up Cement manufacturing project in Ingotha, Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh. The project involves manufacturing of Portland cement, Aluminous cement, Slag cement and similar hydraulic cement with capacity of 2 Million Tons. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on January 2021. As of April 2021, the project is in planning stage.
- ACC is planning to take up Portland pozzolana cement manufacturing project in Yellur Village, Nandikuru P.O, Padubidri, Udupi, Karnataka. The project involves manufacturing of fly ash based Portland pozzolana cement with capacity of 1 MTPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.2800 million. On February 2021, State Single Window Clearance & Monitoring Authority has approved the proposal. As of May 2021, the project work has commenced.
