K Chandrashekhar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, attended the ‘bhumi puja’ and lay the foundation stone for three Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) super-specialty hospitals in Hyderabad.
The three TIMS will be erected at Alwal, Gaddiannaram, and Erragadda, with a total cost of Rs 2,679 crore already approved by the State government.
The facility in Alwal will be built on 28.41 acres in a G+5 design at a cost of Rs. 897 crore, while the hospital in Gaddiannaram will be erected on 21.36 acres in a G+14 pattern at a cost of Rs. 900 crore. The facility at Erragadda will be erected on a 60-acre plot of land, and the 14-story hospital is expected to cost Rs 882 crore.
