During the two-day business conference, West Bengal got investment offers totaling Rs.3.42 lakh crores, according to chief minister Mamata Banerjee.
“I am overjoyed to report that at the Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS) 2022, we got investment offers totaling Rs. 3,42,375 crores. Around 4 lakh jobs are estimated to be created as a result of this business conference. Banerjee remarked on the final day of the sixth BGBS, “It was a fantastic success.”
The summit has been a major industrial event for Mamata Banerjee’s government. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the event could not be held for two years in a row. The next summit would be place from February 1-3, 2020, according to the Chief Minister.
