Bihar has received a Rs 817 crore investment proposal for the establishment of data centres throughout the state.
VueNow, a data management company, plans to build a four-tier data centre with 100 racks, with Patna serving as the master hub.
In the first phase, four more facilities would be built in Dharbhanga, Bhagalpur, Purnea, and Buxar, according to an official announcement.
At a meeting headed by Information Technology Minister Jibesh Kumar, the investment proposal was considered.
“We are looking forward to finalisation of the proposal. After proper evaluation of the proposal, it will be sent to the Chief Minister’s Office for final approval,” Kumar said.
