Chemveda Life Sciences, a mid-sized contract research organisation based in Hyderabad and San Diego that delivers solutions to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and agrochemical sectors, as well as academia, has announced a $150 million investment to expand its footprint in Hyderabad.
Chemveda Life Sciences has seen a lot of development potential in Hyderabad due to the rising life sciences business in the last five years, with two R&D sites totaling over 65,000 square feet and an eight-acre production plant.
In Hyderabad, the business plans to build a state-of-the-art R&D centre with a total area of roughly 2,00,000 square feet. It has already secured a finance commitment of 90 crore and has committed to an additional funding commitment of 60 crore.
