At Sawai Mansingh Hospital, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot lay the foundation stone for a 22-story Inpatient Department (IPD) tower and Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences, which would cost Rs 588 crore.
There will be a helipad and 1,200 bedrooms in the tower. The state administration, according to Gehlot, is working tirelessly to improve the state’s health-care infrastructure.
The medical amenities in the tower would be state-of-the-art, he said, adding that a new beginning in the medical profession has begun in Rajasthan.
He stated that the Tate government will soon enact the Right to Health Act, which will grant everyone the right to health.
