According to a top business official, Blue Star Ltd, a maker of air conditioners, air purifiers, and water coolers, plans to commission its largest plant in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, later this year.
Blue Star Ltd Managing Director B Thiagarajan said the business also aimed for a 14% market share and forecasted a 20% increase in revenue for the current fiscal year.
According to him, the corporation has a 13.2% market share in residential air conditioning.
“This year, we are expecting to commission during the third quarter. By October-December, it should happen…Overall investments will be Rs 550 crore. In the first phase investments will be around Rs 250 crore,” he said.
